The room here is beautifully decorated and looks like it was just set up, with incredibly friendly staff who treat guests with kindness and professionalism, plus they offer continental breakfast.

Had a very nice stay for 1 night. This hotel was very good value for money, seeing price-lists in other hotels. All the staff was absolutely excellent and best, solved my issues. My room was good-sized, had safe for safety measures. The continental breakfast was excellent and great with the high quality, hot options, jams.

Quite dated room, probably not refurbished for some time.

    Good location

Inflexible staff regarding an early morning checkout, prior to breakfast. The customer was definitely not their first priority here. We travelled extensively across Southern Ireland and this was the only hotel where we actually “unwelcome”. Customer service training required.

The price of our double room and its essentials were fantastic, and the central location near the train station made parking very convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was lovely and the food was delicious. Should we return to Waterford, we would definitely stay at the Granville again.

A little niggle, the shower water pressure was fine when cold but dropped significantly when the hot water was turned on.

the location of the hotel was very central and the staff were friendly

The rooms were small and a little dark and need a bit of modernisation

Very central location close to the main restaurants, pubs, and historic sights in town. Good sized and extremely pleasant room with a view of the riverside. - Public parking close to the hotel is provided. I have rewritten the positive aspects of the review for the Granville Hotel in Waterford.

We only stayed the one night at the Granville on our way to the ferry from Killarney. We wish we could have stayed there longer. The room was very comfortable and the Early Bird Meal at the restaurant was excellent value. Glyn and Maureen

This place is truly exceptional, located centrally near major attractions, shops, bars, and restaurants, including the Waterford Crystal Factory in the oldest city in Ireland.

This Hotel ticks all the boxes. Location, Comfort, Food, nice staff and cleanliness all make it a very pleasant hotel to stay in. We will definitely be returning again very soon for another break.

a pleasant hotel with a very special breakfast hostess "Mary" who did an excellent job at attempting to make up for the terrible nights sleep we endured. (see below for details)

WARNING - Before you book a room here check to ensure there is not a function and then make sure you do NOT accept a room at the back of the hotel. We had a sleepless night due to unacceptably loud music until the early hours and then unruly intoxicated guests charging up and down the corridors 2 or 3 times an hour until 5am. The hotel failed in its responsibility of providing guests that were not a part of the function with acceptable standards of accommodation.
